Watch Video
You will note that they suggest it is even better if you make pinball sounds in your head while you watch. How evil is that?! This is serious! This is Not Funny! This is wanton and frightening destruction of property and there is nothing funny whatsoever about it!!
I mean, I saw some of this footage on TV the day it happened. I saw it three times in one newscast. Each time, the anchorperson was solemn. Each time, they talked about how ‘serious’ this problem was.
And, in my head, especially by the second time around?
…ping!...ping!...ping-ping!...ping!...

I am so going to hell…

yikes! That reminds me learning to drive in the snow.
That was awful. Can you imagine the insurance claim from that first car. Ow... ow, ow, ow...
so all the time I am watching this I am thinking of a curling event... I think I am joining you in hell.
Now, now, now. You all aren't going to hell. Growing up in Minnesota, we used to DREAM for days of freezing rain, and we'd do the exact same thing the folks in Portland were doing, on purpose (sans the hitting other people's cars part).
One thing I noticed though. Even when we drove on outdoor skating rinks/ponds; you gotta try awfully hard to slide around as out of control as these folks were. Frankly, I just think they're bad drivers. Or that someone coated their tires with lard (which is a VERY funny prank, by the way) =)
